Today, on 23.01.2021 AD, on the occasion of Mujib Year, Hon'ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina provided land and single houses to 8,179 landless and homeless families across Bangladesh from Ganobhaban online.
Mujibnagar Upazila Deputy Commissioner, Meherpur. In the presence of Mr. Mohammad Munsur Alam Khan, land deeds and ledgers were handed over to 4 homeless families. , Meherpur, Honorable Chairman, Upazila Parishad, Mujibnagar and other esteemed officials, heroic freedom fighters, people's representatives, political leaders, journalists and dignitaries were present. The program was conducted by Mr. Nazmul Alam PAA, Assistant Commissioner (Land) of Mujibnagar Upazila. Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sujan Sarkar performed all the responsibilities from land selection to handing over the keys of the house.
