According to the register, there are 11 hat bazaars. Among them, 10 and 01 hats are running. Proposals have been sent for declaring them extinct. Out of the existing hat bazaars, 10 haats have been leased in Bangla 1428. All the information of all the hat bazaars and water mahals of this upazila have been recorded and updated in the register no. There are 03 water mahals in this upazila. The lease has been issued from the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Meherpur as the water mahal named Dandpur is more than 20 acres out of 03 water mahals and the water mahal named Padmabil is less than 20 acres. Has been done and Swaraswati Jalmahal has been declared open for public use.
25/03/2019 The register is being used with certification on the date. Register review shows that the latest 21/01/2021 AD. 59,800 / - has been collected for DCR fee on the date. The money collected has been deposited in the government treasury.
According to the register, the amount of agricultural khas land in this upazila is 111.08 acres and the amount of non-agricultural khas land is 316.06 acres. The amount of manageable agricultural khas land is 30.2728 acres.
A review of the register shows that there is continuity in the settlement of Namjari lawsuits. Chandina VT register is being used. There are 03 peripheral hat bazaars in this upazila. A proposal has been sent to the Deputy Commissioner, Meherpur from this office for the periphery of 03 more Hatbazars. Besides, leasing of Chandina VT Eksana of 03 hat bazaars in the periphery is in process.

In the financial year 2020-2021, the demand for land development tax of the company has been fixed at Rs. 6,39,573 / -. 1,070 / - has been collected from July / 2020 to December / 2020. The recovery rate is 0.0141%.
